Cheers to the Howard family for knowing how to celebrate in style. Granny is my new hero! I have never seen an 85 year old woman have so much fun!! She was a trip. I respect her care free joy and reckless attitude.

I love Weddings!

This wedding was pretty special because you had every 1st, 2nd and 3rd cousin from Oxford, mixed in with a few loud New Yorkers. Never the less, there was a great mix of people celebrating Mike and Sabrina’s “big day”. With no plans to shoot photos, somehow I was talked into snapping off a few, (Thanks to Melissa’s mother) I was put to work! Here’s what I got.

It is spectacular and all, but when it is sunny and warm it falls. I almost died 3 times because the ice fell inchs from me. It was humbling to say the least.

Other than the fear of getting killed by ice, it was an amazing day out in the sun. Christian sent 8 ball, which was really inspiring to watch. He skipped 2 bolts on the route and some how dodged my mess at the top to clip the anchors. I was expecting to see the ride of the lifetime, but he held on. It was Frank’s first day on the route and he did well. He almost ticked it off second try. He will send next time out.

After that, Christian gave Bohica a go and did really well... only hanging 2 times and working out the moves on the extension (Last of the Bohicans) before taking flight. Thanks guys for fixing a line for me. Good times.

The snow and the cold weather got me psyched to pull out the camera. Of course splitting time between rolling down hills with my brother’s kids and trying to get a decent photo. The family gathered at my Dad’s farm, which made the perfect venue for taking photos. This place has character. The fact that my dad and I cut walnut, oak and cedar trees off the property to build part of the house, certainly gives it meaning. All the blood, sweat and tears that have been lost here was well worth it. Here’s some of the goods.

Here are some of the photos of John, Adam and Christian climbing at the Military wall.
I just want to thank my brothers for inspiring me to shoot photos and to climb hard. They push me to be a better photographer, which allows me to go places... places I would never go on my own. I guess only a climber knows the feeling.

Check out www.soul-climbing.com
